Treatment Philosophy:
A combination of hot and cold therapy (or heat and Ice) is optimal for dealing with swelling and pain because it accelerates the healing process. Cold Therapy (or Ice Therapy)
▪ Cold packs (or Ice packs) are often used as immediate treatment for acute injuries because cold reduces swelling and pain
▪ Insert the Neo Cold Pack into the Thigh Wrap and applied wrap around the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes at a time.
▪ After 15 to 20 minutes, allow the skin temperature to return to normal before applying for the 2nd or 3rd time.
▪ You can use Neo Cold Pack wrapped in brace for an acute injury several times a day for up to 3 days.
▪ Cold therapy is also helpful in treating some overuse injuries or chronic pain for athletes.

Hot Therapy (Or Heat Therapy)
▪ Once the swelling is gone after using the cold therapy, heat therapy treatment follows to help with the healing process.
▪ Heat therapy is used for pain relief, improve blood circulation to enhance healing, and relax tight muscles.
