Physiopack 13cm x 30cm Hot and Cold Pack ( 400g )

Physiopack is a reusable gel pack to provide either hot or cold therapy.

Cold: It’s ideal for the treatment of muscular, tendon and ligament injuries, reduction of oedema and muscular stiffness.

Hot: Physiopack increases blood flow, elasticity and plasticity of collagen fibres – reducing pain. The gel pack can be heated either in hot water or in the microwave and cooled in a freezer.

Indications – Treatment and rehabilitation of muscular, tendon or ligament injuries
– Acute and sub-acute injuries, where swelling is present (use cold to create vasoconstriction)
– Chronic conditions such as muscle hypertonicity or rheumatoid arthritis (treat with heat)

To use hot either heat in hot water for 7 minutes or in the microwave for approximately 1-2 minutes depending on power.

To use cold put in freezer for at least 2 hours.

When using the pack it is important to place a towel between the skin and the pack

Precautions

A cotton towel must be placed between the patient’s skin and a hot or cold Physiopack to avoid skin irritation.

Care should be taken not to overheat in the microwave.

Do not heat the product over 100ºC.
